A report released by researchers from the South China University of Technology (SCUT), and published in the Daily Mail, is suggesting that the deadly Coronavirus may have actually originated in a Chinese government-run, virus research laboratory located in Wuhan.
With a population of 11 million people, Wuhan is the ninth largest city in China and is the capital city of Hubei province.
It is generally believed that the virus originated in a fish market located in Wuhan, that also supplied other exotic animals as food and some believe that included bats believed to be the source of the Coronavirus.
However, in their paper the SCUT researchers noted that the Wuhan Center for Disease Control (WCDC) is located only 300 yards (ca. 274 m), basically across the street from the Wuhan fish market.
And though the paper says there is no conclusive proof the virus originated at the Wuhan virus research center, it stated that there are several reasons to suspect it did:
- First, the research center has several infected animals on its site, including 605 bats.
- Secondly, it noted that the horseshoe bat believed to be the source of the infection is not native to the Wuhan area.
- Thirdly, it stated that one researcher at the virus lab admitted putting himself into self quarantine after being contaminated by the bats. This included having bat urine and blood landing on his skin.
- Fourthly, the virus research center is near the Union Hospital where several doctors were infected with the coronavirus.
The paper stated that there needs to be further research to determine if the Coronavirus, that has since infected 69,000 people world-wide, originated at the laboratory, but added it is “plausible that the virus leaked” out of WCDC.
In an article on Breaking Israel News, Rabbi Yosef Pinto, an internationally acclaimed Jewish rabbi, wondered if what we see happening in China was actually prophesied in the Book of Ezekiel where it reads:
He pointed out that the Hebrew word translated “sin” in The Israel Bible is actually the Hebrew word “j’o” which is the word for China in modern Hebrew. Maybe it is just a coincidence, maybe not.
If this is referring to China, the verse also suggests that China is behind much of the problems we see in the Middle East.
