Members of Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas were on a return leg of their trip from a pastor’s restoration conference in South Carolina. They had a three-hour hold over in Atlanta before their flight to Shreveport.
Included in the group were members of the Classic Worship Praise of East Texas.
As they were waiting, a lady sitting nearby asked the group:
“What do y’all do?”
One of the members of Classic Worship Praise started singing “Jesus Messiah.” Other members of the group soon joined in for an impromptu moment of praise.
Stacy Perkins, who serves worship pastor at Harmony Baptist, said:
“This was just a spontaneous praise. The lady happened to video that, and it’s just captured people’s hearts, and it’s really been interesting to watch.”
