Ex-Keystone pipeline employee blames Biden for energy crisis

A former welder who worked on the Keystone Pipeline, says President Joe Biden is to blame for America’s energy crisis in an interview with Fox Business. The pipeline that was intended to ship oil from Canada to refineries in Texas was shut down by President Biden as part of his move to green energy. Breitbart provides the details: “I don’t know how he gets away with keep saying that he doesn’t have anything to do with [high gas prices] when they’ve got everything to do with it,” Neal Crabtree said during an interview this week with Fox Business. Crabtree previously worked on the Keystone XL project and was among hundreds of others laid off after the president took office. Biden canceled the federal permit for the pipeline that would have brought vast amounts of oil on a daily basis from Canada down to the state of Texas. The move was meant to prioritize clean energy over fossil fuels. 64% of Americans blame ‘woke’ politicians for America’s rising crime rate

A recent Harvard/Harris poll found a significant majority of Americans (64%) blame ‘woke’ politicians for the crime wave sweeping America, Breitbart reports. The poll revealed that even a majority (albeit slim) of Democrats (52%) feel the same. Breitbart provides more details: “The latest Harvard/Harris Poll shows that 64 percent of voters say woke politicians are responsible for an increase in crime across American communities, while only 36 percent blame ‘other factors.’” “Across political parties, a majority of voters blame woke politicians for rising crime. Among Democrats, for instance, 52 percent said woke politicians are responsible for the crime surge, while 75 percent of Republicans and 60 percent of swing voters said the same. “Likewise, the overwhelming majority of voters said crime is on the rise where they live, while small minorities believe it is dropping. Study: Religion helped young people’s mental health

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 ESV) A study conducted by Springside Research Institute (SRI), based in Winona, MN, has concluded that there is a positive relationship between religion/spirituality and good mental health, the Christian Post reports. The study entitled The State of Religion & Young People 2022: Mental Health–What Faith Leaders Need to Know came to the conclusion after surveying nearly 10,000 people between the ages of 13 and 25, also known as Generation Z. The study which focussed on the pandemic and related lockdowns found that during this period over half (53%) of those surveyed said they struggled with mental health issues during the pandemic years. The survey then questioned the remaining 47% who didn’t have mental health issues to find out why they didn’t struggle. The survey found of those who described themselves as …

Leading economists are 100% certain that the US will be in a recession in 2023

Based on several indicators, leading economists are predicting that there is a 100% chance that America will enter a recession in 2023. CBN provides more details: “The latest Bloomberg projections show a 100 percent chance of a recession in the next year. And one of the world’s top credit rating agencies now says the US Gross Domestic Product will grow by just half a percent next year, down from earlier projections.“ In addressing the probability of a recession, Phil Kerpen, an American market policy analyst, told CBN: “I think it’s unlikely that it can be avoided. The question is how deep and how long it will be.” The recession is being largely driven by rapidly rising interest rates being used to combat inflation, which was caused by reckless government overspending. Have researchers discovered the tomb of St. Nicholas?

According to a Turkish news site, Demirören News Agency, researchers may have discovered the tomb of St. Nicholas, the Bishop of Myra while excavating the ruins of a third and fourth century church in Demure, Turkey, Breitbart reports. St. Nicholas, as his name suggests, is the man who inspired our modern Santa Claus. He was the Bishop of Myra prior to his death on December 6, 343 AD. The tomb is probably empty as the bones of St Nicholas were apparently transported to Bari, Italy in 1087 AD, and are now on display at the Basilica di San Nicola. Other bone fragments may have also ended up San Nicolò al Lido in Venice. Nevertheless, researchers believe the newly discovered basilica may still contain other relics associated with the infamous Bishop. Though little is known about St. Nickolas’ life, historical documents reveal that 250 years after his death people were making pilgrimages to his tomb in Bari revealing his growing fame. So how did his life pave the way for our modern Santa Claus? Breitbart provides …

What is a Plague?

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. — Mark 5:29 By Rick Renner Do you know anyone that has ever been subjected to a plague? Have you ever had a plague afflict you? Technically, what is a plague? We tend to use this word “plague” to describe worldwide pandemic outbreaks, but that is not the way it is used in Mark 5:29, which tells of a woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years. Specifically, Mark 5:29 says that when this woman touched Jesus, she was healed of her “plague.” Yet this woman’s sickness was not contagious, nor was it imminently life-threatening, since she had been sick with it for 12 years. So today I want to tell you about how I discovered the meaning of the word “plague” in the New Testament and why this was such an important discovery to me. As a university student, I suffered tremendously from allergic reactions. In fact, a simple …

Video: Vancouver is dying

There was a disturbing news story yesterday on how a Vancouver Policewoman, Const. Shaelyn Yang, 31, was fatally stabbed to death by a homeless person while checking on a homeless camp that are spreading across that city. She leaves behind a husband and young daughter. READ: B.C. RCMP officer, 31, fatally stabbed identified as Const. Shaelyn Yang This disturbing incident took place less than two weeks after a video was released about the mounting social problems in Vancouver, Canada. Called, Vancouver is Dying, it already has over 800,000 views: The video alleges that Vancouver’s growing social issues are due to left-wing municipal politicians and their woke policies. This includes a push to defund and hamstring the police in dealing with crime and providing free drugs to addicts instead of helping them break free from their addictions. Not surprisingly just south of Vancouver, across the US/Canadian border, the city of Seattle which has also elected left-wing politicians is encountering similar social problems for basically the same reasons.

It wasn’t the answer the NY Times was looking for when it asked who was the biggest threat to democracy

I am sure it wasn’t the answer that the New York Times was looking for when it conducted a survey to find out who registered voters considered to be the biggest threat to democracy. I suspect the NY Times was wanting the answer to be former President Donald Trump, but instead, Americans said that the mainstream media are the biggest threat to democracy. Fox News reports: Stunning data from a New York Times/Siena poll find the majority of registered voters believe the media is a “threat” to democracy.  The poll details released Tuesday showed that a whopping 71% of the 792 registered voters questioned say “American democracy is currently under threat.” Among those who fear for democracy, 84% of them, or roughly 60% of all registered voters, view “mainstream media” as some sort of threat. A majority, 59%, call the media a “major threat to democracy” while an additional 25% call it a “minor threat to democracy.” Only 15% who say democracy is under threat do not blame the media. This song caught the attention of a Nashville music producer and in April 2021, Anne released her first single, My Jesus, that went on to become a gospel hit. It reached the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs that year, and is currently in the running for the song of the year in the contemporary pop category at this year’s Dove Awards. Did a Chicago university official threaten students for exposing the evils of Marxism?

When conservative students at the University of Chicago Illinois decided to set up a display exposing the evils of Marxism, they were allegedly met with hostility by a university official, Fox News reports. The display was set up on a sidewalk by Young America’s For Freedom (YAF) on the anniversary of the death of Cuban communist revolutionary and serial killer, Che Guevara. Appropriately called “No More Che Day,” students were also handing out literature exposing Che Guevara’s sordid history, when they were confronted by a university official. Fox News reports: A University of llinois Chicago official was seen on video demanding an anti-Marxist display set-up by conservative students be removed from a sidewalk at the public university. […] He is also heard telling the students that if they don’t pack up, he could file a complaint with the dean of students office. The students in the video are heard saying they would dismantle the table and leave.  “It’s scary that we may face disciplinary action simply because we passed out literature critical of a communist murderer …
