The shoplifting pandemic that is raging through American cities controlled by soft-on-crime politicians has officially reached Britain.
To be honest, it probably reached the shores of Britain long before this, but it became official when a major supermarket decided to attach security tags to toilet rolls.
Yes, toilet rolls.
According to the Daily Mail, the security tags were found on toilet rolls at Tesco Express stores in both Beckenham and Bromley in response to the high shoplifting rates in these two cities.
The Daily Mail adds that security tags, which are worth just under £1.00 each, were attached to bags of four toilet rolls worth about £4.00 to £6.00 depending on the brand.
