It has been spiritually quiet on university campuses across the US since Asbury officials shut down the revival taking place at their school earlier in the year.

But now reports are coming in that the Holy Spirit is starting to move on students at Auburn University located in Auburn, Alabama, USA. The university has a student population of 30,000.

Approximately 5,000 students attended a service at Neville Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, for a time of praise and worship, CBN reports.

According to author Jennie Allen, who spoke at the service, towards the end of the meeting a student texted Pastor Jonathan Pokluda who was also leading the service that the individual wanted to get water baptized.

This prompted Allen to return to the podium and ask if there was anyone else in attendance who wanted to be water baptized resulting in about 200 responses

With no facilities available at the arena, the group along with several hundred students headed down to the nearby lake where about ten people entered the water, including the school’s football coach Hugh Freeze, to help baptize the students.
