12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12 NIV)
In recent months, some celebrities have become more open about their satanic beliefs. Perhaps it was no more obvious than at this year’s Grammy Awards held on Feb. 5, which due to Sam Smith’s performance, resulted in some labeling the show as a ‘tribute to Satan.’
More recently a video produced by rapper Doja Cat with a similar theme has resulted in many of her fans returning to church, Caleb Parke writes.
Born in LA as Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, Doja, 27, has won several awards including a Grammy, five American Music Awards, and five Billboard Music Awards during her career that started with releasing music on SoundCloud.
But according to Christian YouTuber and hip hop artist, Ruslan KD, Doja’s recent dark video in which she dressed as a demon has impacted many of her young fans.
Having not watched it myself, the video apparently features themes from horror flicks such as “The Shining” and “Poltergeist.”
The video, which was released on August 31, 2023, already has 9.6 million views.
But it has had an unexpected impact on the rapper’s fans with many suggesting they are heading back to church after watching it.
One of the most popular comments, with over 8 million views, stated simply, “Thanks Doja to making me wanna go to church everyday.”
Many others expressed similar sentiments posting:
- “Doja got me going to church daily now.”
- “Going straight into a gospel playlist right after here.”
- “Thanks Doja for reminding me to definitely read my Bible and go to church.”
- “Thanks DojaCat for making me wake up early in the morning on Sunday to attend church services.”
Unfortunately, the video also seems to have influenced others in the opposite direction:
- “Ah… the reason I continue to endorse the demonic around us, I love it. The whole video was amazing.”
- “She ate again and again again I luv this demonic vibe gj gurl.”
But because of the video’s overt satanic themes, others are expressing their concerns about Doja writing simply:
- “Praying for this woman.”
Whether Doja is producing this type of material because of her beliefs or simply as a promotional gimmick to gain more notoriety, the demonic realm is very real, and it is nothing to play around with.
Parke added that things seem to have taken a turn for Doja back in March, about a month after the Grammys, when she changed her TikTok profile to a photo of her dressed as a demon. She also started posting images from her recent video on Instagram.
