A TV crew in the city of Chicago was recently doing a report on a series of armed robberies when the crew itself was robbed, Breitbart reports.

The Univision crew consisting of a reporter and cameraman was approached by three armed men wearing masks.

The three criminals searched the TV crew’s van stealing their camera and bags containing equipment as well as personal items.

“I think the brazenness of these criminals has gone behind the pale,” said city alderman Scott Waguespac.

The Chicago City Council has been caught up in the current woke trend of criticizing and defunding police and going soft on crime.

In fact, Chicago mayor, Brandon Johnson, a former organizer for the teacher’s union, has publicly stated that increased police funding and taking a tougher stance on crime will not make Chicago a safer place to live.
