With growing concerns that Disney’s latest blockbuster movie, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, could lose money, Disney’s financial movie performance has been in a steep nose dive recently as it increasingly forces woke culture on its viewers.

It seems that people are simply responding by not watching.

And maybe it can all be traced back to Disney’s move away from God. It’s been going on for a few years, but an alleged incident in 2002 reveals what is going on inside the woke corporation over 20 years ago.

In a recent video, Sounds of Freedom, actor Jim Caviezel alleges that Disney tried to remove reference to God in the 2002 movie classic, The Count of Monte Cristo, Breitbart reports.

“When I did The Count of Monte Cristo, they wanted me to remove the ‘God’ from all of the script. True story,” Caviezel said in the interview. “All of a sudden, I’m reading the script — what happened to ‘God’?”

There are several references to God in the movie, but he was referring to one classic scene where Edmond Dantes, played by Caviezel, scratches the words, ‘God will give me justice’ on the walls of his prison cell.

“I had to say no, I can’t do this. Right is right, wrong is wrong,” Caviezel said in response to the removal.

At that point, Caviezel alleges that Disney personnel mockingly responded with “So, you’re one of those?,” a subtle jab at his Christian faith.

For the record, despite mentioning God ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ cost $35 million to produce and went on to make a profit earning $75.4 million in revenue.
