Since the US Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade and returned the authority for abortions to state legislatures, there have been dozens of reactions by pro-abortionists that included throwing Molotov cocktails at pro-life centers.
But perhaps the most revealing involved a group of Satanists and witches who launched spiritual attacks against a group of believers who had gathered to pray for peace across America outside the US Supreme Court after the ruling.
These attacks included summoning demonic forces to come against those who were praying.
Mike Staver, the CEO of Liberty Counsel, a Christian legal nonprofit that was actually a part of the court case that saw Roe vs Wade overturned, described the scene.
“Black-robed men and women began arriving on the scene, screaming obscenities over the prayers,” Staver reported. “A pro-abortion demonstrator brought a wagon carrying a large boom box blaring satanic ‘music’ and noise. A woman walked right up to our podium and stood next to the pro-life speaker.”
“Every time the pro-lifer spoke, the woman would scream unmentionable curses into a megaphone pointed at the podium microphone,” Staver said. “The pro-abortion crowd began cursing the Justices, the people praying, and vehemently cursing God.”
Staver added that a man dressed as a warlock tried to intimidate a group of senior women who were praying for the lives of the unborn.
He targeted each woman individually and went up to them one by one, uttered curses over them, and then spoke what could have been a demonic tongue over them as part of his cursing.
Staver said that during the court case, each morning his group would see the leftover debris and satanic drawings on the sidewalk in front of the courthouse, from those who had gathered the night before to perform satanic rituals.
Is it a spiritual battle?
And some have wondered if there is some similarity to the child sacrifices that were performed to the Canaanite god, Moloch.
From a description of the idol provided by the ancient Greek historian Diodorus Siculus, it was a large hollowed-out metal idol with two large arms out in front.
Moloch’s priests built a large fire inside the idol and the children would be sacrificed by placing them on the outstretched red-hot arms, causing them to roll into the fire inside the idol.
Siculus added, that the parents, who had been coerced into sacrificing their children, were not allowed to mourn their death.
From time to time, the Jews were caught up in the worship of Moloch (Jeremiah 32:35; 2 Kings 23:10). The prophet Ezekiel added an interesting tidbit of information about the worship of this hideous idol, writing:
37 for they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They committed adultery with their idols; they even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to me, as food for them. (Ezekiel 23:37 NIV)
Ezekiel says that these child sacrifices served as food for Moloch or perhaps the demons behind this idol that we read of in Deuteronomy 32:16-17.
Food is necessary to keep a person strong. Did these types of sacrifices serve the same purpose for the demonic?
One thing that caught Staver’s attention is how emboldened, these Satanists and witches were about their activity and were willing to do it openly.
And perhaps it is just a coincidence, but in 2019, a full-sized replica of the Moloch idol, used in the 1914 silent movie, Cabira, was for a while sitting outside the Roman Colosseum in Rome, Italy.
Life Site News wrote about Alexandra Clark’s visit to the Colosseum in 2019:
“We were so excited the day we decided to go to the Colosseum. But the moment we got there the sight that greeted us was horrifying! Standing guard over the entrance was the colossal pagan statue of Moloch. It was placed in that prime spot so that everyone that entered into the Colosseum had to pass it.”

When dealing with a demonic attack, James, the half-brother of Jesus, wrote:
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 ESV)
When we come under spiritual attack, we are to first purposefully submit ourselves to God, and then the next step involves resisting Satan.
This means we need to take a stand. Hold our position and don’t back down. Satan works primarily through intimidation and fear, and when people don’t cower to this tactic, he is forced to flee.
Staver noted as the Christians refused to be intimidated and continued to pray, the Satanists and witches grew increasingly agitated.
“Nonetheless, the intercessors continued to pray,” Staver said. “One of my staff members who was in attendance says, ‘The longer we prayed, the more anxious and agitated the Satanists became.’”
