POLL: 70% of Americans want the US to ramp up oil production

Gas prices in the US are skyrocketing, not solely because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but due in large part to the policies of President Joe Biden. Since he was elected, Biden has shut down oil pipelines and reduced oil production in the US to appease his global warming fanatic base.

Even before the Russian invasion, Biden’s policies had resulted in a doubling of gas prices.

Under America’s previous administration, the US was producing so much oil, it was selling it abroad, and now President Biden has resorted to begging other countries to increase oil production to offset the shortages he has created.

It appears that Americans are tired of these illogical policies. A recent Rasmussen poll revealed that 70% of Americans want the US to ramp up oil production. Shockingly, this even included a majority of Democrat voters.

Breitbart explains:

The latest from Rasmussen Reports informs us that a whopping “70% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the U.S. government should encourage increased oil and gas production to reduce America’s dependence on foreign sources of oil and gas.”

Guess what percentage oppose this no-brainer?

A measly 18 percent.

President Biden has even resorted to buying Russian oil, which in turn is funding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. You can’t condemn this war on one hand while subsidizing it with the other.

Even Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla that produces electric cars, has recognized the serious shortcomings of Biden’s policies and has called for increased oil production in the US:
