According to a survey conducted by Liberation75, an organization based in Ontario, Canada, nearly 33% of students attending junior high and high schools in Canada and the US believe the Holocaust was ‘exaggerated’ or even ‘fabricated’.
According to Liberation75, nearly 79% of the students surveyed, who attended Grade 6 through Grade 12, were Canadian.
Israel365 adds the survey also found that only 54% of students knew how many Jews the Nazis killed during World War II, and 40% of students stated that their primary source of information on the Holocaust was social media.
The survey also revealed that 42% of respondents said they had “unequivocally witnessed an antisemitic event.”
