Study: 3 cups of coffee a day may reduce strokes and dementia

As a long time coffee addict, anytime I see an article validating my addiction, of course I am going to write about it.

According to Study Finds, research conducted by the Tianjin Medical University in Tianjin, China found that people who drank between two and three cups of coffee or tea a day had lower rates of dementia or strokes than those who didn’t.

The researchers looked at the medical records of 365,000 people between the ages of 50 to 74 and discovered that those who drank at least two cups of coffee or tea daily had 32% less chance of having a stroke and 28% lower dementia rates.

The study also found that those who drank between 4 and 6 cups of coffee/tea a day, even combined, had the lowest stroke and dementia rates.
