According to the medical experts, lockdowns and masks are supposed to reduce the rate of COVID infections. So, why does a state that bans masks (even threatened to cut funding to schools that required them) and refuses to implement the lockdowns have the lowest COVID infection rates in America? And Florida has held this position for weeks.
With seven COVID cases per 100,000 people, Florida has the lowest rates of infection in America. In fact, the number of cases has gone down 28% over the last two weeks.
Meanwhile:
- Michigan has 49 cases per 100,000, and reported a 26% increase over the past couple of weeks;
- New York (21/100,000); and
- Pennsylvania (31/100,000).
And, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is even suing the Biden administration to stop it from forcing vaccine mandates on companies with over 100 employees.
