According to a recent Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll conducted in late July 2021, 72% of American are opposed to the defunding of police.
The poll also revealed that 75% want more police officers patrolling the area where they live.
Over the past several months, Black Lives Matter and woke politicians across the US have been calling for cuts to police departments, resulting in several cities cutting funding.
Predictably, this resulted in a dramatic rise in crime. A recent report indicated that three times as many people were murdered in Washington, D.C. in the month of July 2021, than killed by COVID.
Mark Penn, who co-directed the poll, said.
“Crime is becoming the next crisis in America, with overwhelming numbers seeing an increase in crime and Americans want stricter not looser enforcement of laws.”

In Matthew 24:12-13, Jesus warned that in the end times, there would be a marked increase in lawlessness:
12 And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will become cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved. (Matthew 24:12-13 NASV)
What I never saw coming is that this would be the direct result of decisions being made by woke politicians.
Jesus noted that one of the consequence of this will be people’s love growing cold, and of course we are starting to see that happen as well.
