The lockdowns are intended to stop the spread of COVID-1984, but recent events suggest it really isn’t about that. Because if COVID was supposed to stop the spread of the virus why are the elite not bound by similar rules as the rest of us peasants. Does the COVID virus only infect the lower class?
A recent article in the British newspaper, The Guardian, didn’t even try to hide the fact that the commoners are less important than the elite in British society. The article entitled “‘High-value’ business travellers to be exempt from quarantine in England” revealed that TV personalities, reporters, professional athletes, actors, and corporate executives are exempt from the country’s COVID-1984 rules.
The Guardian explains:
Senior company executives are among travellers set to be exempt from Covid-19 quarantine restrictions for international arrivals in England, meaning they will not have to self-isolate for up to a fortnight.
Recently signed elite sportspeople, performing arts professionals, TV production staff and journalists will also not have to abide by quarantine restrictions if arriving from a country outside of England’s travel corridor from 4am on Saturday.
Of course, the smell of elitism is just not limited to Britain. In California, LA’s Democrat Mayor Eric Garcetti is allowing movie studios to continue producing shows while forcing businesses deemed less important to close. A recent story graphically exposes how different the lockdown rules are for the Hollywood elite.
The Blaze explains:
Angela Marsden, owner of Pineapple Hill Saloon & Grill in Sherman Oaks, decried Los Angeles’ COVID restrictions, which currently includes a ban on outdoor dining, in a video on Friday. In the shocking video, Marsden revealed that a TV production crew just feet from her restaurant had been approved to have outdoor dining for its production.
“I’m losing everything. Everything I own is being taken away from me and they set up a movie company right next to my outdoor patio, which is right over here. And people wonder why I’m protesting and why I have had enough,” Marsden said.
She later continued, “This is dangerous. Mayor Garcetti and Gavin Newsom is [sic] responsible for every single person that doesn’t have unemployment, that does not have a job, and all the businesses that are going under.”
Los Angeles County enacted a ban on outdoor dining at restaurants last month amid a surge of COVID cases. Public health officials claim the ban is necessary to prevent the virus from spreading further.

Of course, there has also been story after story of Democrat politicians who are imposing lockdowns on their citizens but feel they can flaunt them at will
