Did satanists vandalize a statue of Jesus in Italy?

According to reports, Satanists recently vandalized a wooden statue of Christ in the city of Cremona, located in Northern Italy.

Breitbart writes:

ROME — Presumed Satanists disfigured and toppled a wooden statue of Jesus Christ in Cremona, Italy, leaving a piece of cardboard with the inscription “Satan,” La Repubblica newspaper revealed Saturday.

The wooden Christ, bearing the title “Christ of the River Po” was created by Italian artist Mario Spadari and placed by the river along the Lungo Po road in Cremona on the feast of the Assumption, August 15. The damaged statue was discovered on Saturday morning, having been brought down with rocks and severely disfigured during the night.

Of course, this is not the first time this type of thing has happened. It is reminder of the words of Paul who warned that our battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12).

Maybe it is just me, but it seems that those involved in the satanic movement are becoming more aggressive in their attacks on Christians. It is a sign of the times we are living in.
