Strange story out of the Daily Beast, a very left-wing news site. It involved a white woman, who police charged for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at a police car in New York on May 29, 2020.
Some have suggested that she was part of Antifa, a group of left-wing extremist who have infiltrated peaceful demonstration. Of course, she was there protesting the brutality of the police treatment of blacks after the death of George Floyd.
Or was she?
The Daily Beast notes the unusual twist her story took:
When 27-year-old Samantha Shader was first arrested for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at police, she told detectives that the supplies—including glass bottles—were given to her by a group of Black men and women, according to federal court records.
But weeks later, on Friday, police arrested a white man who admitted to providing the materials, 29-year-old Timothy Amerman. According to court records and a Facebook page that appears to belong to Amerman, he works as a painter in Saugerties, New York. Amerman faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted of civil disorder or civil disorder conspiracy, for which he was charged in a federal complaint this week.
You read that correctly, the police allege that Shader falsely accused a group of black men and women of giving her the material for the Molotov cocktail, when in fact police found evidence that it was allegedly given to her by a white person.
How ironic. Shader was there protesting the police treatment of blacks, but she was allegedly willing to falsely accuse black people to protect her white friends.
And oh yes, Shader has been a busy girl:
Prosecutors said that Shader, who was allegedly caught on camera hurling the bottle toward the police vehicle, has been previously arrested 11 times in 11 states.
Fox News had this to say about Samantha Shader:
Social media users, including former NYPD Commissioner Bernard B. Kerik, who oversaw the city’s response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, have alleged that Samantha Shader is a member of the militant left-wing, anti-fascist group Antifa. Authorities have not commented on those claims.
