1 Sam 1:27 vs Oregon governor’s tyrannical order?

27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. (1 Samuel 1:27 NIV)

This was the Bible reference that was tattooed on the shoulder of Oregon business woman, Lindsey Graham, visible as she was recently interviewed by the media. It leads a person to believe that there is an untold story behind this scripture reference.

In defiance of Oregon Gov. Kate Brown’s (D) lock down orders, Graham has reopened her hair salon, Glamour Salon, located in Salem.

Graham told KPTV-TV:

“I’m risking going to jail to do it. That’s how important it is to my family. I’m deciding that it’s more important for me to feed my family and pay the bills that are going to keep our home and our family alive than take the risk to remain being shut down for an undisclosed amount of time.”

Of course politicians and bureaucrats are still being paid and don’t have to worry about such mundane issues as feeding a family and on cue, Graham said Oregon’s Occupational Safety and Health Division has since fined her $14,000 for reopening.

But it didn’t stop there, Graham added in an interview with KOIN-TV:

“If you can possibly believe this, on May 7 Child Protective Services showed up at my home. They questioned my husband and I, they questioned my child without me present, they searched our home.

“I’ve never expected such a violent, aggressive, vindictive thing could have ever been done to me or my family,”

The Blaze reported:

Oregon CPS neither confirmed nor denied whether they questioned Graham and her children due to minor protection laws.

Graham will face more fines if she continues to operate her business — something she vowed to do.

If this allegation is true, was it just a coincidence that Child Protective Services (CPS) showed up at the same time Graham was defying the state’s lock down order? If someone was using this tactic to coerce Graham into complying, it didn’t work, as she has contacted a lawyer and will remain open.

Graham also faces the threat of a 30-day jail term for defying the Governor’s order.

UPDATE: Lindsey and her husband have three children, a girl, 3, and two boys, 8 weeks and 6 years of age. According to the Daily Mail, CPS said a failure to obey lock down orders would not trigger an investigation, but refused to state what did in Graham’s case. However, the timing of this investigation still remains very suspicious as CPS investigated the family two days after their salon reopened.
