Is a prophecy about Hillary Clinton coming to pass?

Prior to America’s recent presidential election, several Christian prophets predicted that Donald Trump would become the next president of the United States.

One of those was Kim Clement who hinted at Trump’s presidency in 2013. Trump would not officially seek the Republican nomination until June 2015 and most considered the chances of him even winning that nomination as very remote, much less the US presidency.

Kim died on November 23, 2016, two weeks after Donald Trump won the presidential election.

But Kim Clement, who had gained a reputation in Charismatic circles as  a prophetic worshiper, also had a prophecy for Hillary Clinton. He gave that prophecy back in 2006:

“And some of you said, when the Spirit said, ‘Hillary Clinton,’ some of you shouted out, ‘yes!’God said, ‘I have already dealt with her heart, not to be president of this nation, but to be president in a Christian world. She will have a testimony second to none and will eventually come out with it and make declaration that Christ Jesus saved her marriage, saved her child, and saved her life. And when this happens, there will be a shaking in the Democratic Party so powerful.'” (Kim Clement, January 14, 2006)

I remember reading that word a few months back and it stuck with me because it was so unusual. It talked of Hillary taking some type of leadership role in the Christian realm.

There have been several articles recently about Hillary’s struggles with losing the presidential election. However, if this prophecy was true, there should also be indications of a spiritual awakening taking place in Hillary.

We may have seen the first hints of this in an article posted on June 6, 2017.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Rev Bill Shillady, a Methodist pastor and a friend of the Clintons, reported that Hillary is praying every day and reading a daily devotional that talks about “being strong in the midst of unpredictability” since she lost the presidential election.

Shillady has been sending a devotional to Hillary every morning shortly after she announced her presidential run in 2015.

Often based on current headlines, Shillady wrote the devotional specifically for Hillary, citing a Bible passage, a thought for the day and a closing prayer to help her deal with the events she was facing.

After her defeat, Shilladay continued sending Hillary the devotional to strengthen her during the dark days after her defeat. Plans are in the works to publish 365 of these now over 600 devotionals in a book for mass distribution.

There have also been other hints of Hillary’s spiritual roots. According to the Gospel Herald, the New York Times reported on Hillary’s faith during a 2016 Iowa campaign stop when she said:

“I am a person of faith. I am a Christian. I am a Methodist… My study of the Bible, my many conversation with people of faith, has led me to believe the most important commandment is to love the Lord with all your might and to love your neighbor as yourself, and that is what I think we are commanded by Christ to do.”

Shilladay’s devotional being published this summer will be titled, “Strong for a moment like this: The daily devotions of Hillary Rodham Clinton.” Depending on how well it catches on, does it have the potential to raise Hillary’s spiritual profile?

Though some are quick to point out that Hillary still supports abortion, is it possible we are seeing the first signs of a prophetic word given in 2006 coming to pass?

King Solomon wrote:

 The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord;
He turns it wherever He wishes.
2 Every man’s way is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts. (Proverbs 21:1-2 NASV)

This is the reason we must pray for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-3). God is willing to move and change their hearts if we are willing to pray.

    Intresting. Being strong has never ever been Hilliarys problem. Since God rests the proud and gives grace and mercy to the humble, maybe the Pastor can help her with that.

    Last night I had a dream where I was driving this tractor-trailer. Sitting in the cab of the truck with me was Donald Trump. We were hauling heavy equipment. We couldn’t find a place to park the tractor-trailer, so I drove to this lot next to this job site and parked it there. I told Donald Trump that I had parked trucks there before. The owner of the lot walked up to our truck and I asked him if I could park our tractor-trailer there for a short while. He said it would be all right to park it there for a few days.

    Last night I had a dream where I saw Donald Trump dressed in a business suit sitting comfortably on top of this bed. He was surrounded by many people—they looked like reporters. Trump was casually talking to the reporters.

    I believe this dream means that Trump will easily win the election in November.

    ‪Why are so many Christian’s putting their trust in so-called prophecies from people like Kim Clement, Rick Joyner and others?‬
    God said to pray for all who are in authority but the Evangelicals did not earnestly and fervently pray for President Obama.

    God did give Israel King Saul, didn’t He?

      Thanks for your comment. I think the question is more basic than this. In the Old Testament there were prophets and there were also prophets in the New Testament Church (1 Corinthians 14:29). So should we expect God to raise up prophets in the church today? If we agree that God is doing that, this leads to the second question should we consider Kim Clement and others to be legitimate prophets? The Bible suggests that at least one stipulation on whether a person is considered a prophet is if their prophecies come to pass.
