At the recent Passion 2023 conference, popular Christian author and speaker, Jackie Hill Perry, warned that witches are becoming more emboldened and aggressive, CBN reports.

“The enemy is trying to destroy an entire generation of Christians with witchcraft,” Perry told the audience. “He wants us to consider alternative sources of power for joy, for peace [and] for a right mind.”

“Witches are bold,” Perry added. “Witches are very out loud and bold about their rituals and their altars and the means by which they can access the spirit realm independent of Jesus, right?”

She added that this disturbing trend is particularly noticeable on the popular social media platform, TikTok.

“And you have an entire generation that is on TikTok being introduced to these powers and this ability to find strength, to find peace, to find some sort of control over their lives, over their minds, and even over others through supernatural means,” Perry said.

We are told in Galatians 3:13, that Jesus has broken every curse through His death on the cross.

But it is not automatic, because through the same cross, we have healing and salvation. Though it is available, it doesn’t happen until we believe and pray for the sick or share our faith.

Similarly, we need to purposefully enforce Christ’s authority over curses and witchcraft through believing prayer.
