You have probably already read reports of people having computer chips installed inside their hands that allow them to make purchases and even open doors by swiping their hands, but these inserts have seemingly gone to another level.
According to an article in the Daily Mail, a California woman now has a record 52 implants inside her body, with plans to install even more. It is considered a world record for women.
These implants not only help Anatasia Synn start her computer, make phone calls, and unlock locks but even help the magician find metal objects and perform magical tricks.
A chip in her right wrist is used to call her husband’s phone and a chip in the left to phone her daughter. Another chip actually causes her hand to vibrate.
But her biggest technological inserts are two large magnets, 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) thick, inserted in her hands which allow Synn to move metal objects as part of her magical routine. She also has two magnets inserted further up in her arms and another magnet that transmits sound near an ear.
In addition to moving objects, these magnets can also detect metal wires hidden behind a wall, and even if a microwave is leaking radiation
She even has a chip inserted inside her chest which others can scan allowing them to watch a video from her wedding.
The most used insert is another hand chip that allows her to unlock the front door of her home.
Call it a sign of the times, but she is part of a growing trend of people having their bodies filled with technological inserts, which sometimes includes questionable technology installed by unqualified practitioners.
