Because of the unwillingness of politicians and DAs to deal with rampant crime, Target has announced it will be closing nine stores in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and New York, The Post Millennial reports.

San Francisco and Portland will be the hardest hit as three stores will be shut down in each of those two cities effective Oct 21, 2023.

It also means that people who choose to earn an honest living will lose their jobs because of unrestrained crime.

In making the announcement on Tuesday, Target officials specifically cited organized shoplifting rings as one of the major reasons for the closures:

We cannot continue operating these stores because theft and organized retail crime are threatening the safety of our team and guests, and contributing to unsustainable business performance.”

Target added that it first tried to implement strategies to reduce theft, but with politicians refusing to deal with the crime in these Democrat-controlled cities, the retail giant had no alternative but to close its doors.
