Gilad Erdan is Israel’s ambassador to the UN, and he recently detained by the UN’s security personnel when he staged a one-man protest during a speech given by Iran’s oppressive President, Ebrahim Raisi’s, Charisma News reports.

When Raisi started his presentation, Erdan stood up with a picture of Masha Amini and the words “Iranian women deserve freedom now!” emblazoned on the image.

Amini is a young Iranian woman who mysteriously died in police custody in 2022 after being arrested for not wearing a hijab.

Erdan stated that he was standing with the thousands of Iranians who are disgusted with Raisi’s brutal leadership.

After his brief protest, Erdman stated that he was detained by UN’s security with what he described as ‘unacceptable’ brutality.

Erdman noted that other ambassadors have held similar protests, including holding placards, with no repercussions.
