In a recent interview on The Today Show, Christian country singer Carrie Underwood warned parents that TV and digital phones are having a negative impact on children, Fox News reports.
She particularly noticed a negative change in attitude if her children watched too much TV.
Underwood is married to former NHL player Mike Fisher, and together they have two boys who are aged seven and three.
Fox News explains:
“It’s such a battle, right? Even television… I notice if they kind of watch too much TV, like they have an attitude shift. And I’m like ‘Why are you moody? What are we doing? Oh…,’” she said while appearing on “Today.”
Admitting she learned a lot from television and movies herself, Underwood said managing how much content her children ingest is “a struggle.” And it’s not just TV she’s worried about – but cellphones also.
Corrie who has sold 85 million records worldwide came to fame after winning American Idol in 2005.
