According to a NASA scientist, extraterrestrial life is real, and not only exist in our Solar System, but may even be hiding out on Venus, the Daily Mail reports.
Venus which is similar in size to earth is the second planet from the Sun in our solar system. It has daytime temperatures of 475 C (900 F). Covered in dense clouds, its atmosphere is composed of Sulfuric acid and Carbon Dioxide.
Not only is Dr. Michelle Thaller, with the US-based Goddard Space Flight Center, convinced there is extraterrestrial life in our solar system, she believes they have found possible evidence of bacterial life in Venus’ atmosphere.
However, others are not convinced, noting that Venus lacks one important ingredient to support ‘life-related chemical reactions’, liquid water.
This isn’t the first time, people have speculated about aliens living on Venus. One of the earliest depictions was in a sci-fi book entitled, Voyage à Venus, written by Achille Eyraud in 1865.
I did a couple of podcasts on aliens, from a Christian perspective:
