A woman from Schirmeck, located in Eastern France, claims she was hit by a meteorite, the Daily Mail reports.

According to a report in a local newspaper, Les Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace, the woman and a friend were having coffee on a patio on July 6, 2023, when they heard a large boom in the neighboring yard.

Seconds later the woman felt a sharp jab in her ribs.

At first, she thought she had been hit by an animal such as a bat, or that perhaps a piece of concrete had fallen off the house.

Instead, they found a small, 50-gram rock, about the size of a golf ball, lying on the ground near where she was sitting. Other than bruising, the woman was not seriously injured.

She had the rock examined by Dr. Thierry Rebmann, a geologist at Switzerland’s University of Basel. He concluded that it was most likely a meteorite based on its composition of silicon and iron.

And if true it’s not the first time we have heard of close calls with a meteorite in recent years.

On February 28, 2021, people in Cotswolds, England reported seeing a bright flash in the sky.

The Wilcock family, who were inside at the time, heard a loud thud outside their home, and decided to investigate.

They found a pile of coal on their driveway and within that pile was a small meteorite, (0.05 grams), that sold for £9,256 ($12,600) at auction. It was 120 more times valuable than gold.

In his vision of the end times, the Apostle John saw a time when multiple stars would hit the earth. He compared it to a massive wind blowing the fruit off a fig tree.

13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. (Revelation 6:13 NASV)

It would cause such panic that everyone including politicians and the wealthy would hide in caves to escape the devastation (Revelation 6:15).
