Though Britain’s health system is reporting that hospitalizations for Omicron are going up, there is an uproar after authorities finally confessed that many were admitted for other issues and only tested positive for Omicron once they were in the hospital.

The symptoms for Omicron are often so mild, that many are unaware they even have it.

The Daily Mail notes that two-thirds of the people, listed as a COVID case, were actually admitted for other issues. This includes people who were hospitalized because of mental health issues.

In other words, they were in the hospital with Omicron, not because of COVID.

The Daily Mail added that another study revealed that a third of those listed as COVID hospitalizations actually caught the virus in the hospital.
