World’s largest active volcano awakens

After being dormant for nearly 40 years, the world’s largest active volcano, Mauna Loa, located on the Big Island in Hawaii, has apparently come to life sending a stream of ash into the atmosphere and darkening the skies. According to the US Geological Survey, it erupted late Sunday night, Nov 28, 2022, bringing with it dozens of earthquakes. Though there have been no reports of lava flows from the eruption, the skies turned amber-red because of the ash. Mauna Loa, which last erupted in 1984, is part of a group of five volcanos, located on the largely rural Big Island of Hawaii. The last time it erupted, its lava flows reached within five miles of the city of Hilo. Sermon at the University of Cambridge said Jesus had a ‘trans body’?

Church parishioners were left in tears after a sermon by a junior research fellow at the University of Cambridge in the UK on Sunday, Nov 20, 2022, implied that Jesus had a trans body. Joshua Heath came to this conclusion based on 13th and 14th-century paintings, composed centuries after Christ’s crucifixion. According to Heath, in a painting found in a 14th century Prayer Book, Bonne of Luxembourg, the wound in Jesus’ side, put there by a Roman guard checking to see if Jesus was dead, looked like a woman’s sex organ. He then pointed to another painting by Jean Malouel in the 13th century that had the blood from Jesus’ side trickling down to the Lord’s groin. Heath suggested that these paintings intimated Jesus had a trans body. As the sermon was being delivered shouts of ‘heresy’ could be heard coming from the Anglican church congregation as people showed their disgust about the homily. Portland: ‘The city is in peril’

Rains PDX, a Portland clothing door, recently closed its doors permanently. But along with that, the store manager posted a dramatic message on its door entitled “Our City is in Peril,” to explain the closure, Fox News reports. In its letter, the store said it was due to the 15 break-ins in the last year and half and the city’s unwillingness to deal with the city’s rampant crime rate. KATU2 provided the contents of the letter: “Our city is in peril. Small businesses (and large) cannot sustain doing business, in our city’s current state. We have no protection, or recourse, against the criminal behavior that goes unpunished. Do not be fooled into thinking that insurance companies cover losses. Chinese people take to streets demanding an end to lockdowns

People are taking to the streets across Communist China protesting the government’s heavy-handed approach to COVID lockdowns. The protests are being led by university students, the Daily Mail reports. The Chinese Communist Party, CCP, has instituted a zero tolerance policy, where one report case of COVID can result in oppressive lockdowns. As protests surge across the country, there were calls for ‘freedom’ and ‘democracy’ and as well calls for the resignation of CCP tyrant, Xi Jinping. A very large split is happening in some churches, these days. You might have heard of the United Methodist Church, a very large denomination with many churches, and their arguments about sexual identity. One of the largest Christian communities in the world is falling apart. This morning I went for a walk with some neighbors and someone remembered me from many years ago. I asked him where we met, and he named my old family church. He still recognized me, after all these years. We talked, and he explained that he lived near us, with his husband. Tim Allen says his new Santa series will emphasize a religious aspect of Christmas

In a recent interview with The Wrap, Hollywood actor Tim Allen, 69, who will be starring in Disney Plus’s The Santa Clauses, says the six-part series will be focusing on the religious aspects of Christmas. Allen stated the original script was emphasizing otherworldly things such as ghosts and goblins, but after Allen’s insistence has since decided it will focus on the real St. Nicholas, who was the historic figure on which modern Santa Claus is based. “I said no, this is Christ-mas. It’s Christ-mas. It literally is a religious holiday,” Allen said in the interview. “We don’t have to blow trumpets, but I do want you to acknowledge it. That’s what this is about. Communist China has a space agency and has developed nuclear weapons. It is also the world’s second-largest economy and yet, according to the country’s budget documents, the United Kingdom still sent £51.7 million ($62.68 US) in foreign aid to China in 2021, the Daily Mail reports. Though 2021 assistance is down from what the UK gave the communist regime in 2019, ten years ago, the UK was only providing £27.2 million ($32.98 million US) in foreign assistance to the communist regime. Klaus Schwab calls Communist China a role model for the world

In an interview with a Chinese media outlet, run by the Chinese Communist Party, Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), declared Communist China to be a ‘role model’ for the ‘world of tomorrow.’ He went so far as to suggest that some countries should embrace China’s totalitarian communism. Religious leaders condemn Canada’s euthanasia laws

In an interview with Fox News, religious leaders in Canada are condemning the country’s euthanasia laws which are among the most expansive in the world. Since, the program, which goes by the acronym MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying), was introduced in 2016, the provisions have been gradually loosened each year. In 2023, the rules will be expanded allowing those who are experiencing mental illness to apply for medically assisted suicide and to even give doctors permission to suggest it as an option for their patients. In an interview with Fox News, Vancouver’s Roman Catholic Archbishop, J. Michael Miller called the law ‘morally depraved’ adding: “In six years, Canada has gone from totally banning euthanasia to one of the most permissive euthanasia regimes in the world.
