Coincidence? UN statue looks like a beast mentioned in Daniel 7 & Revelation 13

Maybe it is just a coincidence. CBN reports that the UN just installed a statue of a jaguar with eagle wings in its visitor plaza that is oddly similar to a beast that appears in the end times mentioned by Daniel and the book of Revelation.

Find someone who thinks differently than you, and demand an explanation!

We can’t blame a virus for our behaviour, but my impression is that our global health crisis has generated a lot of arrogance. COVID taught us some things that are not good. We are getting skilled at dividing and rejecting. Have you noticed that some people are correct and approved, and others rejected because they don’t think like the official majority? I have read news articles about ‘those people’ who are usually on the wrong side of an argument, like vaccination or some political division. The official position seems to be, if we find someone who thinks differently, we demand an explanation. We want to know how they could be so wrong when we told them how to think. Division and rejection seem to be our new path to the truth. If you don’t agree with me, don’t lose your temper. That would just prove my point. We should all know, that a disagreement about an idea can easily become a rejection of people. READ: Mass protests and mayhem continue into a sixth night; thousands …

Denzel Washington does some preaching in ‘New York Times’ interview

In a recent interview for the New York Times, famed Hollywood actor, Denzel Washington, 63, shared a lot about his Christian faith. Maureen Dowd was interviewing Denzel about his most recent movie, ‘The Tragedy of Macbeth’ and The Blaze provides a few of Denzel’s comments: “If you don’t have a spiritual anchor, you’ll be easily blown by the wind, and you’ll be led to depression.” “I’m a God-fearing man. I try not to worry. Fear is contaminated faith.” “The enemy is the inner me. The Bible says in the last days — I don’t know if it’s the last days, it’s not my place to know — but it says we’ll be lovers of ourselves. The No. 1 photograph today is a selfie, ‘Oh, me at the protest.’ ‘Me with the fire.’ ‘Follow me.’ ‘Listen to me.’ We’re living in a time where people are willing to do anything to get followed. What is the long- or short-term effect of too much information? It’s going fast and it can be manipulated, obviously, in a myriad …

The power of believing

By Rick Renner When our TV program was broadcast on Channel One in Belarus, every home in the entire nation had the ability to watch it. The proof of how many people watched our program was the mountains of mail we received every week from Belarus. The impact we had was simply phenomenal. So at the urging of a pastor in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, we took the train to that city and held a three-day meeting for our television viewers. People came from all over Belarus, to the point that the auditorium could not hold everyone who tried to get into the meeting. It blessed us to see such a response to the Gospel message delivered through our TV program. However, the first night of the meeting was a real struggle because they gave me an interpreter who knew almost no English. All night he and I wrestled back and forth on the stage, trying to understand each other, and I knew that the crowd was missing what God wanted to say to …

Physical evidence of Roman execution by crucifixion discovered in Britain

According to the Daily Mail, archaeologists in Britain have discovered what they describe as the “world’s best example of crucifixion.” Though the Bible and other historical documents talk about the Romans using crucifixion as a brutal form of execution, there have been few physical examples of it found because the metal nails used to crucify a person were not only extremely valuable, they were often considered magical and usually removed from the body after death. Crucifixion was a popular method of execution used by the Romans, because it often extended the torture for days. The body, discovered in 2017 in a grave at the village of Fenstanton, is dated to 130-337 AD, during the Roman occupation of Britain. The archaeologists examining the remains found a nail hammered into the man’s heel bone, thought to be 25 to 35 years of age at the time of his execution. There were also indications that the man had probably been tortured and shackled prior to his crucifixion, suggesting that he might have been a slave. Though historical paintings …
