According to a survey conducted by Britain’s London City Mission, a significant percentage of Christians, 74%, stated they were confident about sharing their faith with non-Christians, with 89% stating that it was important to do so, Christian Today reports.

In addition, 76% stated that they wanted to share their faith more, which indicates a strong desire to share their faith.

However, when it came down to brass tacks, the survey found that certain groups in society may be missing out.

The survey found that 42% said they were most likely to share their faith with family and friends, and 39% also included coworkers in that discussion.

However, the survey indicated that there are two groups in society which Christians seem reluctant to share their faith with.

This included marginalized groups such as the homeless and asylum seekers where only 20% stated they were willing to share their faith with them.

As well, only 30% of Christians stated that they were willing to share their faith with people of a lower social standing.

One response to “Christians are reluctant to share their faith with two groups of people, survey finds”

  1. I had expected to read that Christians might not share their faith with those expressing strong faith in a different religion, and I’m surprised to read the group they refuse to share beliefs with the most are – those of lower social standing. Just not what I expected.
