Nearly 300,000 people attended a pro-Israel rally at the National Mall in Washington, DC on Tuesday, Nov 14, 2023. They were showing their support for Israel after its invasion by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7, 2023.
They were also demanding Hamas release the dozens of people it took captive during its brutal invasion, including women and children.
Buses hauled in Jews and Christians from across the nation to the largest pro-Israel rally ever seen in America.
But it should have been more.
According to Todd Starnes, there were several reports of bus drivers refusing to transport both Christians and Jews to the rally. This included nearly 900 people who were left stranded at Washington’s Dulles International Airport when bus drivers walked off the job.
The passengers were told on the plane that their bus rides had been cancelled and many were able to find alternative transportation to the rally.
In another instance, a large Christian university reported that it was also unable to book buses to take its students to the rally.
There were also reports of bus drivers allegedly just getting off the bus and abandoning their passengers.
Emily Schrader, a Jewish writer, wrote:
“Appalling antisemitism as American Jews and allies fly in to DC to join the protest against antisemitism only to find the bus drivers refused to show up in protests of…wait for it, JEWS.”
The rally featured speakers from all political stripes who opposed the atrocities committed by the Hamas terrorists.
