With universities becoming hotbeds for left-wing extremism, anti-Semitism, and pro-terrorist sentiments, several large donors to American universities have announced that they are cutting back donations until there are some major changes, Fox News reports.

The most recent was Jonathon Jacobson, founder of HighSage Ventures LLC, who recently sent a $1 donation to the University of Pennsylvania.

Jacobson who in the past has made multimillion donations to the University stated that this will be the extent of his annual donations until UPenn President Liz Magill steps down.

Jacobson was reacting to Magill’s slow response to condemning anti-Semitic activities at the university. Of particular concern was a literary event held on campus in September called Palestine Writes, where participants called for the death of Israel. This event took place two weeks prior to the invasion of Israel by Hamas.

In his letter to Magill, Jacobson stated:

Enclosed is a check for $1 which represents the first installment of a multi-year pledge which we will renew until you find employment elsewhere and the board of trustees grows the backbone to fulfill its mission, which is to govern the university according to the principles upon which it was founded.

“The university that I attended and that shaped me, is virtually unrecognizable today, and the values it stands for are not American ones.”

This falls on the heels of another major donor to the university, Apollo CEO Marc Rowan, who urged donors to cut their annual donations to the university back to $1 until there are significant leadership changes.
