Faithwire recently shared the story of two printing facilities in the Middle East that are not only illegally publishing Bibles in Muslim countries but also distributing them.

Brian Orme for Global Christian Relief (GCR) interviewed one of the printers, who shared his story of the persecution he has faced because of his work.

For obvious reasons, his name was changed, and his face was not revealed. As well, you are not told what country where these Bibles are being published or even shown the covers of the Bibles.

Orme reported that this printer has been arrested three times by authorities and seen his life threatened five times. This included one instance, where individuals tried to force him to convert back to Islam by threatening his children.

But the printer also showed GCR the 25,000 New Testaments that are in the final stages of being bound which are destined to be smuggled into Iran.

“These Bibles are illegal,” Orme said. “They’re going to be smuggled into dangerous places, so please pray for those who are taking these Bibles to help strengthen the church.”
