J Michael Bailey, 66, is one of the leading experts on gender dysphoria, a condition where a person believes they should be the opposite sex.

Baily, who is a psychology professor at Northwestern University, recently co-authored an article in the Archives of Sexual Behavior (ASB), along with a woman whose daughter had transitioned suggesting that many girls are feeling pressured into transitioning to boys.

“In the report, Prof Bailey concluded that young girls reported feeling ‘pressured’ into receiving medical transition treatments, including drugs to block puberty, after suffering Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD). ROGD is where children, mostly girls, with no history of gender dysphoria suddenly declare they want to transition to the opposite sex,” writes Caroline Graham in her article for the Daily Mail.

“Prof Bailey has long argued ROGD is caused by peer pressure and says doctors encourage drastic medical interventions, including mastectomies, which the girls later regret.”

The Daily Mail reported that Bailey’s article has since been pulled after ASB was, ironically, pressured by transgender activists.
