Despite being relentlessly attacked by many in the mainstream media as a right-wing conspiracy, Sound of Freedom, the true story of one man’s fight against child sex trafficking, has nearly cracked $54 million in sales according to Box Office Mojo.

There are many reasons why the left-wing media hates Sound of Freedom, but primarily it’s due to one thing. The movie was produced by a Christian organization, Angel Studios, and stared a Christian actor Jim Caviezel. The movie was about Tim Ballard, who left his job in Homeland Security to fight child trafficking.

When the movie was initially released on July 4, 2023, it was only shown in 2,634 theaters. But even then, with $14 million in sales, it was the most-watched movie in America that day, beating out Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny which was being shown in over 3,100 theaters.

But then the reports started coming in.

“We’re getting messages from all over the country telling us about packed theaters, sold-out theaters and spontaneous standing ovations for the film in numerous locations,’ reported Angel Studios in an early statement on the film’s success. “Seeing this film has become a must, thanks to incredible word-of-mouth.”

As the movie sold out in theaters across America on Independence Day, more began to pick up the film. Three days later, July 7, 2023, Sound of Freedom was being shown in 2,852 theaters across America with more expected to pick it up over the next couple of weeks.

According to Box Office Mojo, between July 4, 2023 and July 12, 2023, the movie was ranked the number-one show in America based on daily sales three times. It placed second three times and third three times.

Despite the mainstream media bashing the movie, Sound of Freedom received a 76% score from reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes and 100% score from the audience.
