Texas offers transplant to Colorado woman rejected because she was unvaccinated

It was a shock when health officials in Colorado denied Dawn McLaughlin a life-saving kidney transplant because she had not been vaccinated for COVID.

Did green energy cause the Texas freeze?

When you think of Texas, you think of a state full of oil and natural gas, so why are Texans experiencing energy blackouts in the midst of the coldest weather they had seen in decades. The answer: thinking green. Nearly half of Texas’ windmills that provide a significant percentage of the state’s electrical power froze up. Green energy didn’t cause the freeze of course, that was caused by man-made Global Warming (sarcasm). But this green energy failure is causing people to suffer the consequences of the freeze. The Houston Chronicle explains: Natural gas shortages and frozen wind turbines were already curtailing power output when the Arctic blast began knocking generators offline early Monday morning. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT, which is responsible for scheduling power and ensuring the reliability of the electrical network, declared a statewide power generation shortfall emergency and asked electricity delivery companies to reduce load through controlled outages. More than 4 million customers were without power in Texas, including some 1.2 million in the Houston area, the worst power …

Texas lawsuit against PA, GA, MI and WI explained

If you want a good explanation of Texas’ lawsuit arguing the illegality of the recent US Federal election in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin, I highly recommend you READ: 6 Things To Know About Texas’s Supreme Court Petition Over 2020’s Messed-Up Election published by The Federalist. As I had mentioned previous, Texas is not arguing voter fraud, but the illegality of how the vote was handled in those four states. The lawsuit states that the four states not only violated the US Constitution but even their own state law. The Federalist writes: Notwithstanding some branding Texas lawsuit a “Hail Mary” attempt to block the outcome of the 2020 election, the Lone Star State’s complaint presents serious constitutional issues. Those issues, as Texas puts it, far exceed the electoral irregularities of “the hanging-chad saga of the 2000 election.” In its Bill of Complaint, filed along with its Motion for Leave, Texas presents three constitutional challenges. Count 1 alleges the defendant states violated the Electors Clause of the Constitution. The Electors Clause of Article II, Section 1, …

Another ‘lockdown for thee, but not for me’ politician

Add another one to the list. The mayor of Austin, Texas, Steve Adler, is a Democrat and in late November he put out a quick video telling people to stay home for Thanksgiving to stop the spread of COVID. There was just one problem, though, he was actually vacationing in Mexico, along with eight people, including extended family, when he made the video. Predictably after getting caught, Adler apologized for his “lapse in judgment,” while at the same time insisting he had not technically broken the city’s lockdown rules. The Blaze explains: The mayor of Austin, Texas, acknowledged to KVUE-TV that when he made a video last month warning residents to “stay home” to slow the coronavirus spread, he was on vacation in Mexico with family members and others. In the warning video posted to his Facebook page Nov. 9, Mayor Steve Adler said, “We need to stay home if you can…We need to keep the numbers down. Now is not the time to relax,” the station reported. But Adler confirmed to KVUE that when the video was recorded, …

Thrown in jail for feeding her children, while real felons go free

The Supreme Court of Texas has just ordered the release of Shelley Luther, the owner of a hair salon who was jailed by Dallas County State District Judge Eric Moyé, after Luther reopened her hair salon in violation of the state’s lockdown order. Luther actually reopened her salon only a handful of days before the scheduled reopening of hair salons allowed under the state’s lockdown transition. When she was brought before Judge Moyé, Luther explained that she and the other hair stylists in the salon needed money to feed their children. But Judge Moyé would have nothing to do with that explanation and gave her three alternatives — she could apologize, pay a fine or spend seven days in jail. Luther told the Judge: “I have to disagree with you, sir, when you say that I’m selfish because feeding my kids is not selfish. I have hairstylists that are going hungry because they would rather feed their kids. So sir, if you think the law is more important than kids getting fed, then please go …

Did the Holy Spirit fall upon a man to stop a mass murderer?

It may challenge the theology of some. But Stephen Willeford, 55, said the Holy Spirit came upon him to help stop Devin Kelley the man responsible for killing 28 people at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, Texas on Sunday, Nov 5, 2017 In an interview with Steven Crowder the day after the shooting, Willeford, a Christian, explained what happened. After hearing shots being fired, Willeford who lives a block away, grabbed his AR-15 rifle and ran barefoot to find out what was going on. When he arrived Kelley was leaving the church and Willeford ducked behind a truck parked in a neighbor’s driveway and the two began exchanging fire. Willeford told Crowder: “I’m a Christian, and I believe at that point, and maybe this sounds a little off to some of your viewers that aren’t Christians, [but] I believe the Holy Spirit was on me because I had the presence of mind to look at what was going on.” During the shooting, Crowder noticed that Kelley was prepared for a fight and was …

Stunning video of baby revived in Jesus’ name

Dramatic video has surfaced of men pulling a man and his two children out of a black truck that had flipped upside down in raging waters near Myrtle Texas on Saturday, April 30, 2017. People came across the vehicle caught up in a storm that hit that part of Texas over the weekend. Several men waded into the rushing water and struggled to open the vehicle doors against the raging current. Finally, they were able to drag a baby and toddler out of the truck. In the video, a man carries a lifeless baby to the shore. In an interview with WFAA-TV in Dallas, Tom Mitchell, who videoed the rescue said, “The infant is white, blueish grey, no color at all and the eyes were not focused when I looked down on her.” Mitchel knew immediately that if they didn’t do something, this baby was going to die. On video you hear him say, “This baby is going to die if we don’t start CPR fast” and then the video goes dark as he sticks …

God is a ‘myth’ controversy at Texas school heats up

In an earlier post, I reported on Jordan Wooley, a seventh grader who attends West Memorial Junior High School in Katy, Texas. She alleged on Monday, October 26, 2015, her reading teacher gave the class a poll assignment which included a question asking if God was “fact, opinion or myth.” The teacher told the students that the only correct answer to the question was “myth” and that they would lose marks with any other answer. Jordan alleged this resulted in a heated discussion in class as students challenged the answer. The teacher refused to back down and Jordan refused to back down from her faith. Later that evening, Jordan made a presentation about what happened in her class to a school board meeting. The superintendent said the administration would look into the allegations. On Wednesday, the superintendent released a statement on the controversy. Though stating the assignment was “ill-conceived,” the school had interviewed several students and none verified Jordan’s story. He added that there was a question about God in class, but the word myth …

Pastor calmly talks down Islamic terrorist threatening his church in Texas

Dressed in camouflage pants, a tactical vest, black t-shirt and camo boots, Rasheed Abdul Aziz, 40, showed up at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Palestine, Texas the afternoon of Sunday September 13, 2015 asking to see the pastor. The Tyler Morning Telegraph reported that though the morning service was over there were still several people in the building for an appreciation reception for the church’s worship team. When Aziz came to the church asking for prayer, a deacon took him to meet Rev John D. Johnson III, 45, who was in a room with his son. Johnson, a former parole officer, said the hair stood up on the back of his neck as soon as he saw Aziz. He knew there was trouble. Almost immediately Aziz, who was armed with a gun but hadn’t pulled it, became aggressive. He began yelling that he was a “man of Islam” and that God had sent him to kill any Christian and Jewish “infidels” who opposed Islam. Aziz also said he was being chased by demons. Johnson …
