Judge condemns Ill. Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s lockdown orders

Judge Michael McHaney recently ruled in favour of Illinois small business owner James Mainer in his lawsuit against Illinois Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s stay-at-home order. Unfortunately, the ruling only benefited Mainer and not all the citizens of Illinois. But the judge had this to say about Pritzker’s lockdown: Since the inception of this insanity, the following regulations, rules or consequences have occurred: I won’t get COVID if I get an abortion but I will get COVID if I get a colonoscopy. Selling pot is essential but selling goods and services at a family-owned business is not. Pot wasn’t even legal and pot dispensaries didn’t even exist in this state until five months ago and, in that five months, they have become essential but a family-owned business in existence for five generations is not. A family of six can pile in their car and drive to Carlyle Lake without contracting COVID but, if they all get in the same boat, they will. We are told that kids rarely contract the virus and sunlight kills it, but …

100 Chicago churches defied Illinois Gov. and had services this past Sunday

With Americans across the US demanding freedom from the lockdown, over 100 churches in Chicago had services on Sunday (May 17, 2020) in defiance of the Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker’s (D) lock down orders. In an interview with ABC7 Chicago, Florin Cimpean, who pastors Philadelphia Romanian Church of God, stated that some of his parishioners came from Communist countries and now in the US, “feel the threat coming back.” Most states are transitioning out of their lock down in stages, but many are questioning Governors who seem to be doubling down on businesses, organizations and even citizens that are breaking what many believe are tyrannical and even unconstitutional orders. The Chicago churches added that their reopening this past Sunday included social distancing and limits on attendance. Some churches also provided face masks, gloves and sanitizers to parishioners. It is uncertain if the city will follow through on Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s veiled threats to punish the churches involved. But if the city does, I expect the churches will lawyer up and fight this unconstitutional enforcement. …

In an interview with CNN, the Democratic governor of Illinois, J. B. Pritzker, said that the “restrictions on businesses and citizens” in that state will remain in effect until the end of May. Then he added without a vaccine that it could continue on indefinitely. Pritzker said: “If the Chicago Tribune thinks everything will go back to complete normal without us having an effective treatment or a vaccine, they’re just dead wrong,” Gateway Pundit had these kind words to say about Pritzker’s comments: “There is no end in sight. In fact, Priztker believes all people living in Illinois should obey his authoritarian orders until the coronavirus is ‘eradicated.’ The coronavirus will always exist so Pritzker wants his state living in fear with people ‘socially distancing’ (Marxism) and wearing masks forever.” READ: Face masks and social distancing forever?
