The truckers who are in Ottawa calling for an end to the Omicron mandates are giving Canadians and people around the world the courage to stand up to the elitist politicians and mainstream media and say enough is enough. People have been scared to oppose the mandates publicly. A recent CTV article in Canada, started off with these mocking words, “The so-called ‘Freedom Convoy’ protest.” A subtle warning that anyone opposing the government’s mandates will be targeted. Anyone publicly opposing Trudeau’s Omicron mandates should also expect to be labeled as a Nazi or racist by the country’s Prime Minister. The protest started shortly after the Trudeau government announced on Jan 15, 2022, that all truckers coming into Canada and returning had to be fully vaccinated. This included Canadian truckers returning from US deliveries. There was outrage, because truckers simply drive into Canada pulling a trailer, unhitch, hitch up another trailer and return home. Fox News is reporting that the trucker protests that started in Canada calling for an end of the COVID mandates are now spreading around the world. Of course, with the emergence of the Omicron variant, which is no worse than the flu, many are asking the obvious questions: Why do people have to take to the streets to call for an end to governments’ COVID mandates? Fox News reports, that similar to what happened in Canada, Big Tech has stepped in to help the government quell the protest in the US: “Brase told Fox News Digital that the U.S. trucker effort was “just shy of 140,000 people when Facebook dropped us.” On Feb. 2, Facebook removed a Facebook page called “Convoy to D.C. 2022.” A spokesperson for Facebook’s parent company, Meta, told Fox News that the platform removed the group “for repeatedly violating our policies around QAnon,” which Facebook previously labeled a “violence-inducing conspiracy network.” Brase had disputed that claim, saying, “That’s just not true.” Fox News reports that the other countries seeing similar protests …

Elon Musk throws his support behind Canadian truck convoy protesting COVID mandates

According to an article on Post Millenial, Elon Musk has thrown his support behind the Canadian truck convoy, which some estimate at 35,000 and 50,000 vehicles, who are heading to Ottawa to protest Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s COVID mandate. Prime Minister Trudeau recently condemned the convoy calling the truckers a small fringe group who “do not represent the views of Canadians.” However, when the convoy arrives in Ottawa, Prime Minister Trudeau will not be there to greet them as he is isolating at home after coming into contact with a person who tested positive for COVID. While some have portrayed the truckers as anti-vaxxers, this is not the case. Many of them are fully vaccinated but are opposed to the COVID mandates that include preventing unvaccinated US truckers from crossing the US border into Canada and forcing unvaccinated Canadian drivers returning from the US to isolate for two weeks.
