Repent of your white privilege: Is racism the original sin?

You have probably heard of “whiteness” the offense of being part of the dominant majority, that discriminates against minorities with different skin colors. If we consider the whole world, light-skinned people, whose ancestors came from Europe, including people who still live in Europe, form a large minority. In the world community, Asia and Africa have huge populations. I remember learning in school, about the explorers who sailed from Europe and conquered and settled North and South America, and Australia and New Zealand. The new nations that grew from this prospered and sometimes dominated the world. In the southern United States and Brazil, and the Caribbean, large slave populations were imported from Africa. From that division of society, Europeans and Africans, racism tends to be defined by skin color. The United States had a violent civil war, and many civil-rights protest movements. “Whiteness” and “White Privilege” were ideas that fuelled academic discussions. Now, with protest groups like “Black Lives Matter” that protest against “Whiteness” and try to change it, the argument has gone public, and onto …

Former child actor Richard Keith explains how God saved and delivered him from a demonic attack

Thisbodeaus, who later changed his name to Richard Keith, is best known for playing the role of “Little Ricky Ricardo” on the 1950s TV hit series I Love Lucy. He would later go on to have roles in The Luci-Dezi Comedy show and the Andy Griffin show. I addition, Keith played in a secular band, called David and the Giants. At the age of 5, Keith was already earning $2,000 a month playing drums for a band called Horace Heidt Orchestra, when His father took him to an audition for the I Love Lucy Show. In his interview, Keith shared two stories that dramatically impacted him and sent him on a downward spiritual slide. It started when his mom and dad divorced after his father had an affair. New York Times admits mask mandates didn’t work

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, President Joe Biden sent his lawyers to the Federal Appeals Court to overturn a lower court ruling that ended Biden’s mandate that masks be worn on all public transport including passenger jets. Ironically, the same day that Biden was hoping to have the mask mandate reinstated, there was an article in the New York Times that basically admitted that mask mandates made no difference in stopping the spread of COVID.

Don’t be surprised by the fiery trials

Police have arrested a man who allegedly threw Molotov cocktails at two churches in North Carolina on Sunday morning, May 29, 2022 while services were going on, Christian Headlines reports. The attacks, which were apparently 30 minutes apart, took place at Gray’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Hope Mills at 10:37 AM and then shortly after 11 AM at New Calvary Missionary Baptist Church located in the nearby town of Fayetteville. Security cameras at both churches, caught a man throwing several Molotovs. Fortunately, no one was injured in either attack. Police have since arrested Terry Wayne Raeford of Fayetteville, NC charging him with “two counts of two counts of manufacture, assembly, possession, storage, transportation, sale, purchase, delivery, or acquisition of a weapon of mass death and destruction; exceptions, and two counts of malicious damage to occupied property by use of explosive or incendiary; punishment.” In North America, Christians have been able to worship peacefully with no fears of personal attacks, but that is starting to change. And it shouldn’t surprise us. The Book of Revelation …

Is civilization collapsing?

When Jesus described the events leading to His Second return, the Lord said that they would start off as birth pangs, preparing the way for the main event. Some wonder with COVID, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, warnings of nuclear war, asteroids, Communist China’s emerging threat, and concerns about looming famines and food shortages, that we have entered the birth-pang stage (Matthew 24:6-8). And as these events slowly unfold, we are also witnessing a breakdown in society. Breakpoint recently had a column about the social upheaval taking place in the U.S.: According to the FBI, there’s been a 50% uptick in “active shooting incidents” since last year, and that’s not counting the shooting that left 21 dead in Uvalde, Texas. “The two attacks (in Buffalo and Uvalde) are not outliers,” announced National Public Radio. “Mass shootings happen in the U.S. with depressing regularity.” According to their count, 213 so far this year. A variety of things and people are being blamed: access to guns, social isolation, politicians, talk show hosts, authorities, harmful ideas, and more. Behind …
