Study: The COVID-19 virus is weakening?

While politicians are considering more lockdowns as the second wave of the coronavirus hits, a study out of Wayne University in Detroit suggests that COVID is weakening. This may be supported by the fact that the number of people dying from the virus is in an absolute free fall despite the rising number of cases.

Canada: BLM ‘demands’ funding cuts to police

The Black Lives Matter (BLM) organization has been demanding cuts to police funding throughout the US with some success. Now it appears that BLM has brought the defund police movement to Canada. First thing you should notice is that these weren’t requests, they were demands. In a recent presentation to the Greater Sudbury city council in Ontario, BLM made three demands. The first focussed on more spending and the second on more inclusion. But it is the third ‘demand’ that caught my attention: Demand Three: Black Lives Matter Sudbury demands that the City of Greater Sudbury and Council to immediately defund and redirect 10 per cent of the $62-million Sudbury taxpayer dollars utilized for the Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS) budget. READ: Black Lives Matter Sudbury unveils list of ‘demands’ for city council Now, it is important to realize that in the US, BLM does not even represent the majority of Blacks. It is not even close. The organization is completely out of touch with the people it claims to represent. The vast majority of …

Signalling for Virtue Points: The New Religion

Do you drive an electric car, or at least a hybrid? Do you eat meat? What do you own that is ethically sourced, or organic, or renewable? What is your opinion about climate change? Would you like to demonstrate in the streets about something? Is it important for you to tell other people about these important things in your life? You might be virtue signalling. If you are angry at me for asking those questions, here is a correction; you are free to earn your living, and buy the things you like, and you can have your own convictions about social issues. If your car is a hybrid, and you can afford the payments; good. Just ask yourself one question: What is the attitude behind the action? Virtue signalling, or posing, seems to be tied to the spread of information on the Internet. People who don’t know you can believe whatever you tell them, if you project enough virtue. And I know that I am writing this for publication on the Internet, and you probably …

Ages 69 & under have 99+% survival rate from COVID

According to data recently released by the US Center for Disease Control (CDC), the COVID survival rate for those 69 and younger is 99+% depending on age and for those 70 years an older, it’s 94.6%. The data reveals that the elderly and those with underlying health issues (often the same people) are clearly the most vulnerable to the Coronavirus and this is where the bulk of the deaths are coming from Breitbart explains: CDC’s new IFR estimates broken down by age are part of the agency’s September 10 update to its “COVID-19 Pandemic Planning Scenarios.” Based on the “Scenario 5: Current Best Estimate” for the IFR, Breitbart News confirmed the updated age-specific survival rates: 0-19 years old, 99.997 percent; 20-49 years old, 99.98 percent; 50-69 years, 99.5 percent; and 70 years old or older, 94.6 percent. That means that for people 69 years old or younger, the survival rate is between 99.5 percent and 99.997 percent, while for those 70 or older, it is an estimated 94.6 percent. Breitbart News gleaned the survival rate figures from the CDC’s …

60 | The day God needed ‘super grace’

Hi my name is Dean Smith and in this podcast, I want to talk about the day in 1995, when God needed to use super-grace. On Sept. 2, 2020, I was surprised to hear about the passing of Duch, pronounced Dook. He was one of the most brutal mass murders of the past century. And I guess by definition that makes him one of the most notorious Christians of that era as well.
