In the midst of the chaos engulfing the world, there is increasing evidence that the Holy Spirit is on the move.
Over 6,000 students from NC State gathered at J.S. Dorton Arena arena in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 12, 2025 to worship and hear the Gospel, CBN reports.
The event was part of the UniteUS tour that has been holding outreaches at American universities to reach Gen Z.
According to the report, hundreds came forward when the ‘call for salvation’ went out.
Like what it has done in the past, UniteUS had water tanks available for anyone who wanted to be baptized. It is uncertain how this was provided at the university. In the past, the organization had tanks on the back of half tons.
At NC State, 77 of those who made commitments of faith chose to be water baptized.
“What a night at NC State!!,” wrote Tony Prewett on Instagram. “We continue to see new miraculous moves of God on each college campus. Last night, thousands of students gave their lives to Jesus!! All glory to God,”
Prewett, who helped organize the event, also founded UniteUS.
But this is not the only university reporting a move of God.
The Holy Spirit Moves on Campus Where Charlie Kirk Was Assassinated
There was also a massive response to the Gospel message preached at the Utah Valley University, where Charlie Kirk was assassinated two months earlier, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
The event, held in Orem, Utah on Nov. 16, 2025, was hosted by Greg Laurie who founded Harvest Crusades that hold evangelistic outreaches around the world. He also pastors California’s Harvest Christian Fellowship.
Harvest Crusade reports that nearly 8,000 people attended the event at UCCU Center. Along with this 210,000 viewed the service online resulting in over 2,100 professions of faith.
According to CBN, Laurie had planned to hold an event at the university in 2027. But, he started wondering about moving up the outreach after the Charlie Kirk assassination.
Laurie said when his organization approached the university about this, they were very open to changing the date.
“They said, ‘Yes, come now. We need you now,’” Laurie said in an interview with CBN News.
During his sermon, Laurie directly addressed the political climate in the US that led to Kirk’s assassination.
From this he transitioned to the Gospel and people’s need for Jesus:
“God is like a father who loves us. He is like a father who loves us that when we go away from Him, He misses us and longs for our return,” Laurie said.
“God has a plan for you. And I am talking to somebody right now who is lonely, who is empty. I am talking to somebody right now who has contemplated suicide. I am even talking to someone who has attempted suicide, and I want you to know that God loves you and He has a plan for you. Don’t entertain that thought another day.”
His message obviously struck a chord. Hundreds responded to the altar call with many making first time commitments to Jesus.
