“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 NASV)
We often look at Europe as being a barren Christian wasteland, but it is obvious that it is not all that it seems from the outside.
There is increasing evidence that the Holy Spirit is at work beneath Europe’s secularized exterior.
Jean-Luc Trachsel, a healing evangelist based out of Switzerland, recently reported that the Holy Spirit moved in power at two conferences held recently in Italy and Hungary, CBN reports.
Traschel who spoke at the March for Jesus rally in Paris, France, two weeks ago where people were saved, healed, and filled with the Holy Spirit stated that he saw similar results at a revival conference held in Hungary.
He said 1,300 people gave their lives to Jesus at a rally held at DVTK stadium in Miskolc, Hungary. The stadium which holds 15,000 people was packed out and featured Chris Tomlin as the lead worship leader.
The event was sponsored by “This Is the Day!,” an organization dedicated to holding praise and worship events internationally.
Traschel also saw the Holy Spirit moving at a three-day conference in Italy, where he spoke on the power of the Holy Spirit at an Apostolic Conference held in Rome.
The conference was organized by the 11,000-member ‘Apostolic Church in Italy’ (ACI), an international missionary organization with churches across Italy. According to its website, ACI was “born out of the Pentecostal revivals of the first half of the twentieth century.”
The protestant conference held in the heart of Roman Catholic Italy also saw many people get saved.
The Holy Spirit showed up in power, as Traschel stated there were several remarkable healings, including one person who was born deaf being healed and able to hear for the first time.
It is becoming increasingly apparent that the Holy Spirit is beginning to move around the world, and we need to ensure that we are in the flow.
