Over the past few years, Christians have been burned by people claiming to be prophets who stated that Trump would be re-elected in 2020.

When that didn’t happen, some went off the deep end and stated that he would be put back in the presidential office in a matter of months.

That didn’t happen either.

Then others bizarrely stated that Trump was still God’s president, even though he wasn’t elected. Sometimes, when you make a mistake, the smartest thing to do is to stop digging a deeper hole.

I have seen true prophets in action and firmly believe in the gift of prophecy.

So what happened?

I believe there were instances when people prophesied beyond their authority. Just because a person printed the word prophet on his or her business card, does not automatically mean they are a prophet in God’s eyes.

Some of these individuals could have the ‘gift of prophecy’ but when they started prophesying about government, they exceeded their calling, by stepping into the realm reserved for true prophets.

In a nutshell, there are different levels of prophetic anointing and unction.

Those with the gift of prophecy are limited to encouraging and edifying words to people in the congregations (1 Corinthians 14:3). Others can have a governmental role in the church, which allows them to commission people to ministry (Acts 13:1-3). Then there were those like Jeremiah who were called to be prophets to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). Jeremiah’s prophetic authority extended internationally.

However, if you step outside your God-ordained realm, you are in trouble.

So this leads me to an interesting prophecy that a popular YouTube prophet, Joseph Z, had about King Charles. He was one of a handful of prophets who did ‘not’ believe that Trump would be re-elected.

It took a steel backbone to go against the flood of pro-Trump prophecies at that time because anyone who suggested Trump wasn’t going to be re-elected, was often ironically labeled a ‘false prophet.’

According to an article on Charisma News, over the past year, Joseph Z has delivered several prophetic words about England’s monarchy, which may have all that more significance with King Charles III’s recent cancer diagnosis.

In her article, Abby Trivett writes that in the months leading up to Queen Elizabeth I’s passing, Joseph Z spoke about a transition taking place in the monarchy.

For a brief period, this would lead to the appointment of a new king, but he would be a false king. He would not be the true king or a true leader.

“The Lord began to speak to me and said, ‘the king has come, but it is a false king,’” Z prophesied (Jan. 4, of 2023).

This would suggest that King Charles is a false king.

But according to Joseph Z, this false king would transition to the individual, that God had anointed, to be the next true King of Britain, Prince William. Joseph Z adds that the “Spirit of the Lord will come upon William” at his appointment as Britain’s next king.

“His time will come, and it will be very, very important when it does, and we’ve got to pray for that because there’s a change of the guard of a generation that is right upon us right now,” Z continued.

“With this prophetic foretelling of a transitional season will be the rise of a Solomon, Prince William,” Trivett writes. “His anointed time will come to step into the office of position God-ordained for him. However, when people expect him to come into this place of authority will be different than God’s timing for this transition to happen.”

It is an interesting prophecy and may be significant because I believe the UK is in a very dark place spiritually.

If Prince William is God’s anointed King, then God can use him to bring about a spiritual restoration in Britain, similar to how God anointed King Cyrus, a pagan king, to restore Israel back to the Promised Land (Isaiah 45:1).

Time will judge this prophetic word.
