In a recent Instagram post, Hulk Hogan, 70, called getting water baptized the greatest day of his life, Fox News reports.

Hulk along with his wife Sky Daily were water-baptized by full immersion on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida.

As he has done for decades, Hulk was wearing his characteristic bandana as he went under the water.

“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life,” Hogan said in a video posted of his baptism. “No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!”

Hulk had previously shared on X, formerly called Twitter, about his faith in Christ:

Hulk, whose actual name is Terry Gene Bollea, was a former professional wrestler and is considered by most the most famous wrestler of all time. His Hollywood persona along with his athletic skill made him a household name in the 1980s.

During his career, he also made several appearances in movies and TV shows, often playing himself as Hulk Hogan.

While many mock the hype surrounding professional wrestling, Hulk has had nine back surgeries as a result.

The early church also reported celebrities coming to Christ. We read in the book of Acts that a magician, known as Simon the Great, became a believer in Jesus when Phillip was preaching in Samaria (Acts 8:9-11).

But it turned a bit sour when Simon offered money to the disciples so they would show the magician how he could fill people with the Holy Spirit, as the disciples were doing. This resulted in a strong rebuke from the Apostle Peter and what appears to have been an act of contrition on the part of Simon (Acts 8:17-24).
