An interesting story has emerged out of Britain when Piers Corbyn entered an Aldi discount grocery store and tried to purchase a package of strawberries with cash, WND reports.
However, the store located in Greenwich will not accept cash for purchases as people can only buy items using the Aldi app.
When Corbyn provided the clerks with the exact cash amount for the purchase, they refused to accept it.
So Corbyn left the money on the counter and exited the store. According to reports, the employees allegedly called the police to report the purchase as a theft.
Over the past year, the Aldi chain has set up several cashless stores. Peter Corbyn, an anti-globalist activist, is the brother of Jeremy Corbyn who is the leader of the British Labour Party.
