According to a recent survey conducted by Lifeway Research, 69% of protestant pastors in the US report that there is “a growing sense of fear in their congregations about the future of the nation and the world”, the Christian Post reports.
The survey was conducted in September 2022.
Though concerning, this was actually down from 2010, when 76% of pastors said that they saw a growing sense of fear in their congregations.
The survey also found that 63% of pastors stated that there was also an “increasing dread specifically about the future of Christianity in the U.S. and around the world.”
