Taking a page out of the script of the Hollywood movie hit, ‘Independence Day’, a former intelligence officer with the US Department of Defense, David Grusch, claims that the government has found remnants of ‘intact and partially intact’ alien spacecraft and even the remains of alien beings from other planets, The Guardian reports.

In an interview with Debrief, Grusch added that the officials within the US Department of Defense are purposefully withholding the information on these findings from the US Congress.

However, not once during the interview does Grusch say that he has personally seen these alien vehicles or the remains of their pilots.

Then a few days later, a Stanford University professor, Garry Nolan, stated in a Salt iConnections conference that he is 100% convinced that aliens from other planets are on Earth and have been here for a ‘long time’.

Similar to Grusch, Nolan does not state that he has personally met one.

So how are believers to react to this news.

Jason Jimenez, who heads Stand Strong Ministries, is a Christian apologist and in a recent podcast, he spoke about his Christian response to UFOs, Faithwire reports.

He starts off by saying that even the ancient Greeks believed in UFOs and at one point some were even worshiping them.

But then he provided a couple of reasons for why he doesn’t believe there are aliens vising Earth.

First, he says the vast majority of the videos and photos of aliens are doctored.

“The vast majority of stuff is a hoax,” Jimenez said on his podcast.

Then he adds that astrophysicist Hugh Ross, who is also a Christian, says that science is able to explain away much of the remaining phenomena leaving only a handful of what would be truly questionable sightings.

However, when we hear of reports of these alien aircraft defying the laws of physics, Ross says that we need to question what people were actually seeing.

This led to Jimenez’s second point when he says that the Bible does not mention alien life on other planets.

But it does speak of a spiritual realm that involves spirit being which include angels, and also speaks of a satanic realm made up of fallen angels.

The point that Jimenez is making is that some of these more questionable, physics-defying sightings may actually be demonic.

“I wholeheartedly believe that there are times when we have witnessed or even captured the footage of a spiritual being interacting in the physical realm,” Jimenez said in his podcast.

“Maybe it’s a spiritual battle between an angel and a demon. Maybe it’s demons messing around in using this type of influence to continue to strike fear or curiosity to lead people away from God,” he continued.

We do know that godly angels have the ability to appear in human or corporeal form and even have the ability to eat food as did the angels who appeared to Abraham in Genesis 18:7-8.

It’s entirely possible that fallen angels have similar abilities.

Even the Apostle Paul warned about demons appearing as angels of light, which leads me to wonder what else could they disguise themselves as (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)?

I remember years ago I was traveling home late at night after visiting a friend in another city when I had my one and only encounter with a UFO.

The highway was empty of traffic when suddenly I noticed a light beside me in the night sky on the driver’s side of my vehicle.

My adrenaline was pumping, and I remember being absolutely terrified as it seemed to be following alongside my vehicle.

This went on for a few minutes as I repeatedly looked up to see if it was still there and it was.

I had no idea what was going on and then in a moment of clarity, I felt that the Holy Spirit tell me to rebuke it.

So as I was driving along, I rebuked it in Jesus name and as soon as the words came out of my mouth, the light disappeared.

It was gone and never appeared again.
