Christian Aid Ministries (CAM) is reporting that two of the 17 missionaries/family members (including five children) kidnapped in Haiti on Oct 16, 2021 by the 400 Mawozo gang have been released.
The missionaries worked for the Ohio-based ministry and in a statement published on its website on Sunday, Nov 21, 2021, CAM said it could not provide the names of the two who were released or the reason why.
In its release, the ministry added that those who are aware should not release the information, stating:
We ask that those who have more specific information about the release and the individuals involved would safeguard that information.
The ministry added that the two are in ‘good spirits.’
