While politicians obsess about returning to masks/lockdowns and defunding the police, Fox News reports that Meghan McCain, the soon departing co-host of The View, stated that she has a greater chance of dying from a gunshot in Washington, D.C. than from COVID.

Fox News explains:

“I wish there was a little bit of energy coming from Democrats, particularly in Washington, D.C. where I’m at right now, [on] the violence going on and the homicide rate because, quite frankly, I have a higher likelihood of getting shot leaving this building than I do of getting COVID,” McCain continued. “From July 14-28 there were four COVID deaths and 11 homicides in Washington, D.C.”

Continuing with that theme, those under the age of 65 in Canada have a greater chance of dying in a car accident, than of COVID, which explains why politicians and health officials locked down the whole country and didn’t ban cars. READ: More people under 65 die from car accidents than COVID
