What do Chris Pratt, Justin Bieber and Kourteny Kardashian have in common?

For many they are household names. All three have fame and money in movies, singing and TV respectively.

Chris Pratt, 38, is a movie star with leading roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and one of my favorites Jurassic World that earned $1.6 billion world wide. He is also starring in the soon to be released Avengers: Infinity War

Canadian born Justin Bieber, 23, is one of the most popular pop singers in the world. He has 102 million followers on Twitter, nearly 92 million followers on Instagram. and his Facebook page has close to 79 million likes.

TV reality star Kourteny Kardashian, 38, stars in Keeping Up with the Kardashians — one of the longest running reality shows in the US. She and her sisters have also started successful clothing and perfume lines.

And though fame is certainly one common denominator, according to the Daily Mail, they have one more thing in common, all three were recently seen attending the same church service at Hillsong in Los Angeles.

Originating in Australia, Hillsong is renown for its praise and worship and has branch churches around the world.

All three actually ended up at the church’s same mid week service. Though Sunday attendance reflects a church’s popularity, mid-week attendance reflects the heart of the church.

The Holy Spirit is moving in the lives of these three individuals in unique ways:

The prophetic word

Though Chris recently separated from his wife, he has been very open about his faith publicly thanking Jesus at the recent Teen Choice Awards.

In an interview with Esquire Magazine, Chris shared the unique way he became a Christian. While working in Hawaii, the underage Chris was standing outside a liquor store waiting for friends when a Christian man working with Jews for Jesus approached Chris.

After talking to the man, Chris left his friends, joined the man and believed on Jesus two days later. But this man also prophesied that Chris would be famous, and a short time later while working as a waiter in a restaurant, a Hollywood producer walked in and days later Chris was flying to America for a movie role.

Though separated from his wife, Chris is hoping they will get back together.

The God transformation

In recent years, the world has witnessed the dramatic changes taking place in the life of Justin Bieber. He was in constant trouble with the law in both Canada and the US.

In 2013, police investigated complaints Justin egged his neighbor’s house in Los Angeles and later that year, a Toronto limousine driver alleged Justin assaulted him. In early 2014, Miami-county police arrested Justin for driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

But since then, Justin is making serious steps to turn his life around through God. A LA Times reviewer recently likened one of Bieber’s concerts to a church service.

He got water baptized and recently cancelled tour dates with some suggesting the pop star did it to reconnect with God. Justin is not the same troubled boy he was just a few years back, God is doing things and its showing up in Twitter, Instagram and Facebook posts.

Did a prophetic word saved the Kardashian family?

I have not heard much about Kourteny Kardashian’s faith, but a prophetic word delivered to the church the family attended nearly 200 years ago may have saved them from the Armenian genocide.

In the 1800s, the Kardashian family attended a church in Armenia connected with the Molokoans. They were very Pentecostal — believing in prophecy and charismatic gifts. A prophecy in the 1850s predicting a great war coming to the area and danger to the Armenians. They were warned that they would need to flee across the ocean.

In 1901, that word was revived when another prophet warned that the time prophesied earlier was upon them and they had a small window of opportunity to flee. The prophet who went by the name Efim added that they should specifically go to California.

Kourteny’s great-grandfather, Tatos Kardashian then 17, headed to California along with about 2,000 other Armenians. Because of this decision, he not only escaped World War I, but also the Armenian genocide that resulted in the Turkish government slaughtering 1.5 million Armenians.

Tatos would marry into the Shakarian family, also Armenian, who were involved in the 1905 Azusa Street Revival.

God is at work.

PRAYER: If God brings it to your remembrance, one Hollywood personality you may consider praying for is Shia LaBeouf. He is going through troubling times, but I also wonder if God is not wanting to draw him into the Kingdom.
